Dubai camel dairy hopes to milk health food market (AP)

In this Tuesday, July 13, 2010 picture, Dr. Ulrich Wernery checks the health of a camel at the Camelicious farm in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Camel milk has at least three times more vitamin C than a cow's and is considered an alternative for the lactose intolerant. Researchers, meanwhile, have studied possible roles in fighting bacteria, tumors and diabetes, as well as traditional uses such as a treatment for liver disease as part of folk medicine across the camels range from central Asia to North Africa.
