Hi Adrian
Most universities in the USA have a website with instructions for international students applications.
If English is not your first language, you may be asked to submit a TOEFL or equivalent.
Most universities also require a SAT or ACT score - there are testing sites throughout the world for both of these exams.
Expect to pay anywhere from US$ 45,000 to US$ 65,000 per year. There are excellent schools that are much less expensive and easier to enter in Canada and New Zealand.
Just as an example, here is the web address for international applicants to Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas:
http://www.k-state.edu/admissions/#p=apply/international.html
These requirements are typical for USA universities.
