IFFS Announces Location for 2011 International Film Festival Summit

The International Film Festival Summit (IFFS) announced today that the 2011 International Film Festival Summit will be taking place in Austin, Texas. The 2011 IFFS, which will take place December 4th-6th, will bring together over 250 film festival directors and executives from all across the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
The International Film Festival Summit, which had previously taken place in New York and Las Vegas, is entering their eighth year and focuses on topics in the film festival community such as funding and sponsorship, programming, operations & management, marketing & public relations, acquisition & distribution, digital technology solutions, long term planning & sustainable growth, and executive management.
For the third year in a row, the IFFS, will also be co-located with the International Music Festival Conference (IMFCON), which is the only conference addressing the issues facing the music festival industry.
