OMG i just saw an ek9 pwn that battle!!!!!!!!!!
Don’t get me wrong here. Spoon and Mugen are good shit, but the price for header and exhaust are wack. Someone said for example: Toda header/exhaust system is just an overpriced DC sports. Hope to have good bashing.
the reason why they were bashing the spoon guy cuz he was nosy and was following the host. Also, I guess they didn’t want the spoon guy to see the other swaps and maybe steal some ideas. Any body could bash me but think about spoon products. Camshaft; exhaust and intake for $500 each. Doesn’t even produce good power. I know that they’re suppose to have a broad powerband, but for track, but who wants to pay for relabed oem parts. Spoon and Mugen are overpriced.
Wow, can’t believe they were dissing the owner of Spoon Sports. WTF were they thinking, he even gave them the death stare when the two guys mentioned that the civic was garbage.

If you’re just talking about power and money then, it’s easier just to put in a turbo or the comptech supercharger for the s2000. They’ve done a s2000/k20 hybrid. But with money involved, it’ll be easier turbo and supercharger. If you say, “I wanna stay all motor,” then at the end of the day, it’s not worth it. (Money/time)
@beekyosuke Ah…thanks. I was just wondering. My friend has a S2K and he was wondering if a K20A would be better then a F22. Apparently, he wants to swap the F22 out with a K20A…when he gets the money. Thanks!

No dissing here. R u talking about the s2000 f22? The k20 is better due to the VTC. The s2000 could be modded to get VTC. But overall I’d take the k20 engine in a s2000 if possible. The s2000 has been maxed out from the factory so adding exhaust won’t gain much. I/RH/E k20 could compete with s2000 I/RH/E.

Oh, the man forgot that the rbc is aimed for high end. They need that midrange on the track.

I wish I could get those blueprints. BTW: The cylinder head intake ports are said to not have been design as good as the b16. Shame shame.
