Strong earthquake hits Taiwan, 1 injury reported (AP)

A 6.4 magnitude quake struck southern Taiwan on Thursday, causing panic among residents in the island's second largest city who rushed into the streets as buildings shook.(AFP/Graphic)AP - A powerful 6.4-magnitude earthquake rocked southern Taiwan on Thursday morning causing buildings to sway hundreds of miles (kilometers) to the north. Local news reports said at least one person was injured.
