AP Exclusive: Chile gives US weapon-type uranium (AP)

Just ahead of Monday's nonproliferation summit in Washington, Chile has provided an example of how countries can rid themselves of nuclear material, working with the U.S. to remove the last of its highly enriched uranium. The material was then shipped to the US, where much of it will be converted to safer fuel and resold for nuclear power.
